The Indiana football team is vying for one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2027 high school recruiting class, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Chicago’s Mount Carmel High School wide receiver Quentin Burrell listed Indiana as one of the top 10 programs he’s considering Friday night. He is a four-star prospect, ranked No. 10 among the Class of 2027 and No. 57 among the highest-rated players overall, according to Rivals Industry Rankings.

Burrell’s other top-10 programs include Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan, LSU, Nebraska and Oklahoma. He has no connection to the former Fighting Irish safety of the same name.
After a successful first two seasons under head coach Curt Cignetti and position coach Mike Shanahan, who also serves as the Hoosiers’ offensive coordinator, Indiana has been looking for some different wide receiver prospects in its next recruiting class.
