‘I’m Taking CNN Over Newsmax, Can You Believe it?’

president Donald Trump On Monday, he expressed dissatisfaction with a question from a reporter representing the right-wing media outlet Newsmax, triggering a heated exchange with the reporter.

The president appeared to be put off by a Newsmax reporter as he spoke to reporters on the tarmac in West Palm Beach, Florida Mike Carter’s Observation: “Iran’s Foreign Ministry says you are not telling the truth when it comes to having productive dialogue to end the war.

“Well, they’ve got to make themselves better public relations people,” Trump retorted.

After a while, the Newsmax reporter tried to ask another question but was interrupted.

“Mr. President, you deployed ICE agents to America’s airports today –” Carter said.

“Who are you with?” Trump said.

“Newsmax, sir,” the reporter replied.

“You know, you didn’t do a very good job,” Trump retorted.

Carter tried to press his question, but Trump refused and instead called in a CNN reporter.

“You’re not doing a very good job, you hear me?” Trump said. “Can you believe it? I’m going to take CNN over Newsmax, can you believe it?”

Moments later, Trump jabbed in Carter’s direction again as part of a rant Joe Kent — Last week, he resigned as director of the National Counterterrorism Center while condemning Trump’s approach to Iran.

“He goes out and says Iran is not a threat to get publicity… he may be signed to CNN,” Trump said of Kent. Then, pointing to Carter, Trump added, “Or maybe he’s signed to your Newsmax unit.”
