“That’s the beauty of this game, I guess I didn’t expect it to be my first Test. Or, you know, I’m making my debut for my country and, you know, this jersey is very special to me. There’s a lot of responsibility on my shoulders,” Pratika said in a video posted by the Board of Control for Women’s Cricket in India on X (formerly Twitter).

“So I think I was just enjoying my game internally. It’s a format that I really enjoy and I want to score a lot of points in it. I actually just did the best that I could,” she added.
