How to Return Items Purchased on Amazon

The Amazon India Big Sale has kicked off with huge discounts on many products. Amazon’s sale for the next four days will offer discounts, cash back, and other deals on phones, tablets, laptops, TVs, and more. Of course, the problem with online shopping (including occasions like Amazon sales) is that you can’t see the products before you buy them, and you have to pay before you can try anything you buy. We recently had to return a few items to Amazon India and if you have been in the same situation, here is what you need to know to return it easily.

If your purchase doesn’t fit, or you receive an old, damaged book, you can return the product without even having to call customer service to do so. Amazon has a very simple interface for returning items and scheduling pickup. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Go to your Amazon order page.

2. Each order will come in a box. Scroll down to the order you want to return.

3. click return the goods The button is on the right.

4. Click the checkmark next to each product you want to return.

5. To the right of the product you want to return, select the reason for return from the drop-down menu.

6. Briefly explain the question in the box that appears below the drop-down menu. This box will appear once you select a reason for return.

7. Click continue.

8. On the next page, Amazon provides a solution to this problem. In most cases, only one option will be selected by default – Refund. Click continue.

9. The next page is where you can schedule your pickup. Select a pickup date from the drop-down menu.

10. Your shipping address will be displayed by default. If you would like to arrange for pickup at a different address, please click Change address.

11. When you are ready to complete the return process, click submit. Amazon will send someone to pick up the item you want to return. They will give you a receipt. Please keep it safe until the refund is credited to your account.
