How to Disable Birthday, Live Video, and Other Annoying Notifications on Facebook

Facebook can easily become a place overloaded with notifications. Although it’s easy to disable push notifications on your smartphone, if it’s Facebook specifically that’s bothering you, then following the steps below will fix the problem.

on your phone

If you use the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps to disable annoying Facebook notifications:

  1. Open the Facebook application.
  2. Click more button in the lower right corner.

  4. tap notify. Here you can get rid of annoying notifications like birthday reminders and live videos.

For the Facebook app on Android, follow these steps to disable annoying Facebook notifications:

  1. Open the Facebook application.
