This will ensure that when you log in with this Apple ID on your iOS device, you won’t be asked to enter your login payment method. Keep in mind that if you don’t add a payment method, you won’t be able to purchase any paid apps or pay for any subscriptions in the App Store or Mac App Store on your Apple device.
