India has a serious spam call problem, and anyone with a SIM card in India is likely to receive some unsolicited calls from people trying to sell credit cards, offer personal loans, or even promise high returns on investing in the stock market. If you’ve ever encountered this problem, you’ll be happy to know about a new feature in iOS 13 that lets you block all unknown callers in one fell swoop. Yes, this feature in iOS 13 can silence all incoming calls from unknown numbers. This is an extreme option, but it might help you a lot if you have annoying telemarketers calling you over and over again.
This option is great because it’s built into iOS. You don’t need to use any third-party apps, and you pay for your privacy in exchange for peace of mind. According to Apple, when this setting is turned on, iOS 13 will use Siri’s intelligence to allow calls to be made from numbers found in the Contacts, Mail, and Messages apps on your device. In other words, calls from people you’ve interacted with in the past will still go through, even if you haven’t saved their number. All other calls will be automatically sent to your voicemail.
