Winter is in full swing in Greater Cincinnati, with snow falling early in the month.

Cincinnati’s first snowfall on December 2 set a new record. The last record of this date was 2.2 inches in 1929.

As of Tuesday morning, areas around Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky had mostly received between 4.3 and 4.8 inches of snow, according to snow reports compiled by the National Weather Service. The highest local county total thickness reported in Warren County was 5.5 inches.
