🏀Boys Basketball
Cranston West 54, Narragansett 50
A defensive switch and timely offense in the second half helped Cranston West pull off a comeback win at home in Division II.

The Falcons rallied from a 10-point deficit against Narragansett to pull within one at halftime. Cranston West then struck in the midfield zone to prevent the Mariners from winning 54-50.
Cranston West went on an 11-0 run in the second half to extend its lead to eight points. Deante Jacksonof 15 points. The sophomore forward scored more than a dozen times in the second half, including a breakaway dunk that gave the Falcons a 47-44 lead with four minutes left in regulation.
jackson and Noah German Cranston West (14 points) dominated the boards in the final 16 minutes to secure Cranston West’s fifth win of the season.
narragansett Aidan Clancy Narragansett took the lead with three consecutive 3-pointers in the third quarter. But the Mariners didn’t have enough answers against the Falcons’ zone to win. Clancy scored a game-high 26 points on seven three-pointers in the loss.

Both teams return to action Thursday, with Cranston West hosting Rogers and Narragansett traveling to South Kingstown.

Classical 51, Portsmouth 47
Elizier Delbre Scored 24 points, including 7 consecutive free throws at the end of the game to seal the victory. His teammates JJ Calvin Leading the purple team by 12 points.
Adam Coney The Patriots scored a game-high 26 points, with Jack Casey scoring 10 points in the loss.
Jaydason Burrows, East Providence boys basketball
East Providence 67, North Kingstown 52
The Skippers had four players score in double figures, but it still wasn’t enough to defeat Town and their sharpshooters in this Division I game. east providence Jeddason Burrows Scored 18 points on three-pointers Jayden Watts Scored a game-high 19 points in this game. East Providence led by 5 points at halftime and won easily.

Lincoln 52, Shea 44
Gianni Pagios Lead by 24 points Jarrett O’Hagan 12 points helped the Lions beat the Raiders. For Shay, Jedien Morobel Lost 12.

dylan Kafalas He scored a career-high 35 points to lead the Broncos past the Vikings in the Division II matchup. Jack Belluzzi Contributed 9 points to the win. East Greenwich 53, West Warwick 32
The Avengers trailed the Wizards by seven points at halftime, but a strong second-half performance from East Greenwich meant neighboring West Warwick suffered its first defeat of the season. Kate Herbert The Scarlet Knights led Division III with 12 points, eight steals and eight rebounds. Nini olawuyi Scored 10 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks in this crossover victory, pushing EWG’s record to 4 wins and 1 loss. For the Division II Clippers (2-4), olivia linden Scored a game-high 13 points.

Prout 42, Providence Country Day 19
Despite a slow start, Prout took a 25-3 lead at halftime and never looked back to defeat PCD. Balanced offense led by sophomores Luciana Marchionne (10 points) and Junior Captain Caitlin O’Hara (8 points and two three-pointers) paved the way to victory.
