JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) — Rob Martin scored 24 points, Camron Fletcher had 17 points and 19 rebounds and top-seeded High Point beat second-seeded Winthrop 91-76 on Sunday as the Panthers clinched their second straight Big South Conference title.
High Point (30-4) set a program and Big South record with its 30th win of the season. This is also head coach Flynn Kleiman’s first year at the helm of the Panthers.

Martin made 6 of 19 field goals, 11 of 13 free throws, and dished out 7 assists. Fletcher hit two three-pointers and tied the tournament record for rebounds in a game.
Terry Anderson added 18 points for the Panthers. Irving Aquino and Chase Johnston each scored 11 points.
Kareem Rozier scored 22 points and Daylen Berry added 18 for Winthrop (23-11). Big South Conference Player of the Year Logan Duncomb, who had 17 points and 10 rebounds, fouled out with 4:32 left and the Eagles trailed 79-68.
High Point took the lead early in the second half and took its largest lead at 67-51 with 9:49 left.

The two teams split the regular season series, with each winning at home. Winthrop won Game 1 92-75. High Point won the second game 89-87.
