The pilot of a private jet reportedly spotted a creepy phenomenon while flying thousands of feet above Rhode Island, the latest encounter that has baffled experts and civilians alike.
Recently resurfaced videos Share on YouTube In October, VASAviation reported on a head-scratching moment when a pilot radioed the ground team at Rhode Island’s TF Green International Airport about a mysterious small silver cylinder hovering near the wing, telling Air Traffic Control (ATC), “It appeared to be stationary.”
“Looks like a weird little object that we just floated by,” the pilot told air traffic control, according to the video. “A little silver can. Do you know what that is?”

According to ATC records shared by VASAviation, a private jet pilot was flying over Rhode Island when he encountered a mysterious silver cylindrical object hovering next to the plane at an altitude of approximately 3,500 feet.
Air traffic control then informed the pilot that there were no other reports of the object in the area and asked the pilot if it could be a drone or balloon.
“I didn’t see anything up there,” the pilot responded, the video shows. “It was kind of hovering there. It was so surprising. I didn’t know what it was.”

The object was reportedly seen floating near the right wing tip of a Piper PA-32RT-300T Turbo Lance II at an altitude of 3,500 feet, then flying with the aircraft before disappearing from view.

In a recording shared by VASAviation, ATC can be heard wishing the pilot “good luck to the aliens.”
“Creepy,” the ground team said on the radio, and air traffic controllers joked, “Good luck to the aliens.”
Other pilots soon joined the mystery over the radio, with one adding, “I want to believe him.”

One possible explanation for the mysterious object is that it is a weather balloon, which typically carries a cylindrical payload and hovers high in the sky, the Daily Mail reported.
“Whenever a pilot reports a UAP sighting to an air traffic control facility, the FAA records the sighting,” the FAA said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “If supporting information such as radar data corroborates the report, the FAA will share it with the UAP working group.”
