ESPN’s Jamal Collier reports that the 30-year-old superstar has been officially diagnosed with a strained right calf.
After the game, head coach Doc Rivers told gathered reporters that Milwaukee did not believe Antetokounmpo damaged his Achilles tendon, Collier reported.
The former two-time league MVP will undergo an MRI Wednesday night, and Milwaukee should have more information soon on the exact extent of the damage, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reported.
Antetokounmpo collapsed to the hardwood and lay there until the Bucks’ medical staff came to attend to him. Rivers claimed after the game that Detroit center Jalen Duren had some contact with Antetokounmpo before the fall. Antetokounmpo was helped up, but he walked to the locker room under his own power.

Antetokounmpo recently missed four games — all of which Milwaukee lost — with a strained left adductor muscle.
Ahead of Wednesday’s game, ESPN’s Shams Charania said Antetokounmpo and his agent, Alex Saratsis, have been discussing his future with the team, which has improved to 10-13 on the year but is still in the middle of the pack.
Rivers hinted before the game that there were “no conversations” about Milwaukee selling Antetokounmpo, although to be fair, that’s exactly what the head coach of a team that currently has Antetokounmpo would probably say.
