Now, the Bulls punched their ticket to the Class 3A state championship game for the second consecutive year with a 52-21 victory over Bishop Moore Catholic on Friday night. The Bulls will now face the fourth-ranked Jacksonville Raines on Friday night in a rematch of last year’s final.

The Vikings have dominated the games they have faced so far this season, recording impressive wins against Lake Mary and Madison County. The Raines have been absolutely dominant in the postseason, outscoring opponents 186-29 in four games, and now they’ll face their toughest test when they face Northwestern in a rematch of last year’s state championship game.

The Lions’ eight-game regular season winning streak since losing their first game to nationally ranked St. Francis College of Baltimore ended with a 27-21 loss to No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas in the finals.
For the Lions, who are aiming to win another Class 1A state title in December at Pitbull Stadium despite losing two games, they opened the postseason with a 63-0 victory over St. John Paul II Academy in the 1A Region 4 quarterfinals before defeating talented Edison 47-18 in the regional semifinals. Chaminade-Madonna booked its ticket to the state championship game with a 35-0 sweep of Trinity Christian Academy last week and will now face Cardinal Newman for the 1A title on Thursday afternoon.
