When asked if reinforcements were needed in January, Dalmat replied: “They already have a good squad.

“In the summer they signed a couple of young players who need to be given more credit.

“If they have to do something important, it’s better to do it from next season.”

He then offered his thoughts on Andy Diouf’s plight.

“He’s growing but he hasn’t shown all his qualities yet,” Dalmat said. “Also, he’s not playing in his natural position.

“Chivu needs to give him more credit.”

Furthermore, after missing a penalty against Bologna, Dalmat jumped into the defensive position of Ange-Joan Bonny.

“Only the guy who takes the penalty misses it. I think he’s an interesting player.
