The Miami Dolphins have a lot of work to do in rebuilding their roster after making significant cuts this offseason. Bradley Chubb, Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill all need to be replaced.

While Malik Willis signed a contract worth $67.5 million over the next three years, the Dolphins need to find a new receiver or two to replace Hill.
They’ve signed Tutu Atwell and now have former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert on a one-year deal, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Dolphins sign Jalen Tolbert to one-year contract
“Source: Former Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert will sign a one-year contract with the Dolphins,” Schultz reported. “Tolbert has a close relationship with Malik Willis, who was his quarterback at the Senior Bowl when they came into the league.”

Tolbert, 27, has a strong relationship with the Dolphins’ new quarterback, which should help him transition to the Dolphins’ offense in the offseason.
With only Jaylen Waddle firmly ahead of him, Tolbert has a chance to earn the No. 2 spot, and considering his performance in Dallas, it’s not out of reach.
In four years with the Cowboys, Tolbert had 1,093 yards and 10 touchdowns on 91 catches. Last season, he caught 18 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown.

His usage dropped off a bit with the arrival of George Pickens, but he had a very productive season in 2024 when Tolbert was the No. 2 receiver.

Tolbert finished with 49 catches for 610 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 targets in 17 games. Although the Cowboys offense has been a bit inconsistent for much of the year due to injuries, Tolbert still had a solid season in 2024.
Tolbert, now a free agent, decided to leave the Cowboys and come to Miami for a chance to play against Waddle as the team’s No. 2 guy.
His connection to Willis, and the upside he’s shown throughout his career, makes this more interesting than simply a deep wide receiver catch.
