Liverpool fans have been given an encouraging update on a player who has been sidelined with injury.
Jayden Danns made an immediate impact after breaking into the Reds’ first team two years ago, but his fledgling career stalled in 2025.

His loan spell at Sunderland last season was derailed by back problems and then in the autumn he went down with a hamstring injury from which he is still recovering, with the 20-year-old having been plagued by bad luck over the past 12 months.
Danse’s recovery from injury ‘very good’
Thankfully, there now appears to be light at the end of the tunnel for the young forward, with Rob Page sharing some good news about the player.
The Liverpool Under-21 manager told Red Man TV: “Jaden is doing very well. We have a medical meeting on Tuesday [today]so I can get a clearer idea of what level he is at. Every morning he goes out on the grass, and every day he’s getting better and stronger. “

Injury robs Dance of potential first-team opportunities
Although Arne Slott has fielded a more familiar starting line-up in the FA Cup this season than last season, the games against Barnsley and Brighton are likely to be the ideal chances for Dance to earn an elimination should he feature.
Alexander Isak’s own injury problems might have opened the door for the 20-year-old to be more involved in the first-team had it not been for a hamstring problem that has kept him sidelined for the past four months, but at least it now seems likely that he could return before the end of the season.
Page has previously spoken out about the young striker’s potential, claiming he “could be the next England No.9 in the next few years”.

While managers often try to downplay the ceilings of young players to avoid placing too high expectations on them, the Liverpool Under-21 boss has gone down the opposite path that Dance feared.
It could still be a few weeks before the striker returns, but the future looks brighter after the latest update. Pray that the next 12 months will be much better for him than the previous 12 months.
