A dog is missing after running away following an accident involving an injured hiker in the Sierra Madre.
Sierra Madre Search and Rescue posted on social media Saturday evening that they had responded to a rescue along the Mount Wilson Trail earlier in the day. The hiker’s dog Missy escaped during the incident.
Missy is described as an “older” black miniature pinscher wearing an orange vest.

Sierra Madre Search and Rescue advises anyone who may be hiking to keep an eye out for Missy.
