The victory in terms of rules is the tiebreaker. The Sens have 34 players and the Wings have 29 players. The Islanders have 28 players, the Blue Jackets have 27 players and the Caps have 33 players.

According to PlayoffStatus.com, the Red Wings have a 15% chance of making the playoffs. The Senators are at 68%, the Islanders at 33% and the Blue Jackets at 23%. After losing 8-1 to the New York Rangers on Sunday night, Team USA only has an 8% chance of winning.

The Red Wings (40-29-8, 88) will take on the Columbus Blue Jackets (38-27-12, 88) on Tuesday, April 7 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit (7 p.m. ET).
