(WFRV) – A 55-year-old man from Waupun was reportedly airlifted after a crash on Highway 26 in Rosendale.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, multiple reports came in around 11:45 a.m. on January 20 of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 26 near Alden Road in Rosendale.

According to reports, a preliminary investigation revealed that an SUV lost control while traveling north on Highway 26 and hit the side of a semi-truck. The SUV left the road and struck a utility pole.
Authorities said the SUV was driven by a 55-year-old man from Waupun. He suffered serious injuries and was airlifted for treatment.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. Highway 26 was completely closed for approximately 30 minutes while the helicopter landed.
The accident remains under investigation.
