Dana White confirms the date for UFC White House remains the same.
The UFC will host a one-of-a-kind event at the White House in June. The card was originally expected to be dated June 14, President Donald Trump’s birthday. But recent reports suggest that the event will be postponed to June 26. However, White has since refuted the rumors and assured fans that the event will be held on June 14, Trump’s birthday.
The media is to blame
“The media is awash with the White House battle. The date is the same, Sunday, June 14th,” White wrote on Instagram Stories.
The idea for the card was first proposed last June. The event will be held on the South Lawn of the White House and will likely feature four or five title fights. White said the $20 million budget for Noche UFC in 2024 at the Sphere is “ashtray money” compared to the cost of the White House card. Numerous UFC stars have been clamoring for a spot on the card since it was first announced.
