CBS did the same thing on Thanksgiving, with 57.2 million people watching the Dallas Cowboys vs. Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13.
According to The Athletic, this number broke the record for the most-watched NFL game ever. To be more precise, the Chiefs and Cowboys actually broke that record, which previously belonged to the 2022 Thanksgiving Day game between the Cowboys and the New York Giants. That game attracted 44 million viewers.
