Currently leading the division and with a crucial game against the second-place Green Bay Packers this week, that vision is within reach.
Because of the season they’ve had and the energy Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams have brought to the city, the excitement and support from the fans has arguably never been higher.
One “gift,” if you will, that the organization has been desperately trying to give to the team and its fans is a new state-of-the-art stadium. There have long been plans to build it in Arlington Heights, away from the city.

Bears expand stadium search to northwest Indiana
Kevin Warren announced Wednesday that while the organization had originally planned to locate in Arlington Heights, that may no longer be the case due to issues with the state.
A $2 billion pledge from the Chicago Bears, one of the largest organizations in the state and NFL history, wasn’t enough for the state to make it a priority, even though it offered thousands of union jobs and a venue that could provide a year-round attraction inside the dome and all the profits that would come from it.
Warren said this is not a leverage move but “keeping every credible avenue open” to provide a championship-caliber environment for fans and teams.
