BATH, N.Y. (WETM) – A Corning woman pleaded guilty to felony rape charges and was sentenced to prison and 10 years of probation.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office announced that Jolene Spaulding, 46, pleaded guilty to Class E third-degree rape and was sentenced to six months in the Steuben County Jail followed by 10 years of probation.

As previously reported, Spaulding was charged with the crime in June 2025 after an investigation revealed she had an inappropriate relationship with a child at Hillside Children’s Center – Snell Farm, Bath, where she worked.
Previous reports said that during the course of the investigation, officials learned that Spaulding had a sexual relationship with the teen.
Spaulding was sentenced for those crimes and was also required to register as a sex offender in New York state, officials said.
