Conte has one year left on his contract at the Stadio Maradona and although Corriere dello Sport is more cautious about Conte’s departure, reports suggest that if the Italian tactician leaves it will be by mutual consent and no fee will be paid to the coach.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Maurizio Sarri as the leading candidate to take over at the Maradona Stadium, but Milan’s Massimiliano Allegri is also in the running.

Maurizio Sarri admitted he was not happy at Lazio and said he would leave the club if his plans did not align with those of the Blue Eagles.

Allegri, on the other hand, has clashed with senior Milan adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic and has a difficult relationship with chief executive Giorgio Fulani, so the Livorno-born tactician is expected to leave the Rossoneri if there are no changes in the club’s management next season.
