Wrestling Inc. is expanding into mixed martial arts (MMA). Here are some of the latest news we’ve been working on.
Conor McGregor says he is discussing a return to the UFC, either at a White House event in June or sometime in the summer.

“I’m working with [UFC] About this game. Either the White House or nearby. McGregor will be back at some point in the summer,” he told Lilly Raine in an interview posted on Instagram.
The White House game is scheduled to be held on June 14 on the South Lawn of the Presidential Residence. The game schedule has not yet been announced. Jon Jones is another person who recently said he was in talks for the card.
McGregor is perhaps the most recognizable face in the UFC, taking MMA by storm in the 2010s. Since making his UFC debut in December 2012, McGregor has remained undefeated in his first seven games and further won the featherweight and lightweight championships to become a double champion.
He suffered his first loss to Nate Diaz in 2016, but became popular enough to earn millions after a special boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017, in which he was defeated by TKO in the seventh round.

Since then, he has fought just four times in the UFC, losing three and winning one, including a loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018. He hasn’t played since breaking his ankle against Dustin Poirier in 2021, and his first return match against Michael Chandler in June 2024 was canceled.
