MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Rookie Cedric Coward had 23 points and 14 rebounds, one of five Memphis players to score in double figures, and the Grizzlies beat the Los Angeles Clippers 107-98 on Friday night.
Cam Spencer and Jaylen Wells each scored 17 points and Jaren Jackson Jr. added 13 points as Memphis won for the sixth time in eight games. Zach Eddy had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 24 points and 8 rebounds. James Harden scored 18 points and 7 assists, and John Collins scored 16 points. Los Angeles lost for the ninth time in 11 games.
The two teams alternated the lead in the fourth quarter. With 3 minutes and 40 seconds left in the game, Harden made two free throws to tie the game at 98. This was his only score in the second half. In that time, there have been 10 lead changes and nine draws. Neither team led by more than eight points.
Memphis scored nine straight points to end the game.
A week ago, Memphis defeated the Clippers 112-107 in Los Angeles.
