Carson Hocevar ruined it.
With 23 laps left in the race, Hochevar lost ground to Logano.
Logano’s car was not destroyed, but after the caution he had no chance of winning.
Hochevar moved closer to the front line, so this worked to his advantage.
The No. 77 car struck the No. 22 car from behind and began to spin.

Hochevar didn’t wait long before sharing what he thought happened. He apologized directly on the radio:
“I didn’t mean to do it…sorry…the tiniest touch, just my fault. I think he got really tight. Totally on me.”
Many will not believe Hochevar as he wreaked havoc immediately in overtime as well.

Logano had a great run on this track, and whether Hochevar takes responsibility or not, he couldn’t be more excited about this ending.
Especially as Hochevar moved closer to the front, it quickly became clear that, whatever his intentions, he would be the main beneficiary.
We’ll see if anything else is said, but it’s not ideal for Logano.
