Evan is investigating after a car crashed in the air and crashed into a house on Page Street.
Video from the scene early Thursday morning showed the front of the home ripped apart, siding torn, windows shattered inwards and the front door damaged.
The car was parked in a neighbor’s yard with its front end severely deformed and all airbags deployed.
Homeowner Donna Uminski said she woke up to chaos.
This is the fourth time a vehicle has hit her house.
“I thought I might have a plane at my house because I couldn’t find a car,” Uminski said. “Then I said, maybe it collapsed because of the snow. I really didn’t know what happened until I saw the bumper. When I saw the bumper in the snow, I knew there had to be a car somewhere. And then I just prayed that everybody was going to be OK, no matter what.”
Uminski believed two people were in the car at the time of the crash and said she was told both were expected to recover.
The home has since been boarded up. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
