DALLAS (AP) — Cam Spencer scored 25 points off the bench and Olivier Maxons Prosper had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 124-105 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.

Scotty Pippen Jr. scored 15 points and Jaylen Wells and GG Jackson added 12 each to help Memphis snap a three-game losing streak.

The Grizzlies, who had lost seven of their first eight games despite going shorthanded and winning the entire game, missed star guard Ja Morant for his 16th straight game with a left elbow injury, as did Zach Eddy (ankle) and Cedric Coward (knee).

Taj Gibson, who was signed by Memphis on Thursday to help with his absence, was inactive.

Brandon Williams scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds, leading the Mavericks to their seventh straight home loss. Daniel Gafford scored 14 points, Dwight Powell had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Max Christie also scored 13 points.

Rookie Cooper Flagg missed his sixth straight game with a sprained foot.

With 5 minutes and 23 seconds left in the second quarter, Miles Kelly hit a three-pointer and the Mavericks narrowed the point difference to 8 points 44-36. But it was the closest Dallas could get the rest of the way.

The Grizzlies went on a 20-8 halftime run to lead 64-44 by 20 points, and twice extended their advantage to a game-high 34 points in the third quarter.
