Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant was ejected after taking a hard hit from Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Montaric Brown on Sunday’s final play at Miller High School.
Brown was initially penalized for the hit, but officials raised the flag after the cornerback was deemed to have hit Bryant in the chest instead of the head. Players from both teams gathered around Bryant as he fell to the ground. Denver quarterback Bo Nix dropped his helmet to the ground after the game.

With 31 seconds left in the game, Bryant was placed on the backboard and sent to the locker room. Nix then threw a short pass to running back Tyler Badie, who fell down two yards later, and the Broncos lost 34-20.
Bryant had five catches for 42 yards before his injury. The third-round pick out of Illinois State totaled 22 catches for 305 yards and one score in the game.
