Broc Glover Inducted into AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Glover joins select Hall of Fame team and earns AMA Hall of Fame Legend honors
Pickerington, Ohio – The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame is proud to announce 2000 inductee Broc Glover as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame legend, joining a handful of Hall of Fame members to receive this honor.

Only a handful of Hall of Fame members are recognized as Legends by the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, a status reserved for those who have accomplished in an impactful way throughout the motorcycle community beyond their inducted category.
“Broc Glover was an outstanding championship racer whose competitive drive and on-track success helped shape the sport of motocross as we know it today,” said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. “But equally compelling to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame is the impact Broc has had outside of his racing career. He has been a strong supporter of the AMA and Hall of Fame over the years and has been a frequent presence at the AMA. event. We thank him for his continued dedication to the motorcycle community and look forward to celebrating him as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame legend this year.”

During his racing career, Glover won six AMA Motocross National Championships, including three 500cc championships in 1981, 1983 and 1985. These six championships were a long-standing record until 2003 when Ricky Carmichael finally surpassed it.
After his racing career ended, Glover remained deeply involved in the sport and the racing community. The San Diego native has been a leading figure in Dunlop off-road racing, serving as the brand’s senior manager of off-road racing. In this role, Glover received the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lifetime Achievement Award and the MXGP Lifetime Career Award.
Glover also serves as the grand marshal for the 2024 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days and spearheaded the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Gold Jacket Program, which launched in 2024 to award ceremonial gold jackets to AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame members.
The AMA will celebrate Glover with members of the 2026 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame class at an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame induction ceremony on September 10 at the Violet Woods Event Center in Pickerington, Ohio. The AMA will announce the 2026 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame class at a later date.
