British stone. LOUIS (AP) — Pavel Buchnevich scored twice, Brayden Schenn scored his 700th career point and the St. Louis Blues beat the Nashville Predators 3-2 on Saturday night.
Joel Hofer made 29 saves for the Blues, who defeated Nashville in their previous two meetings this month. Hofer has won four of his past five games.

Tyson Yost and Fedor Svechkov scored for the Predators, and Jusse Saros made 17 saves. The loss ended Nashville’s three-game winning streak.
Svechkov scored his second goal of the season shorthanded with 7:57 left in the third quarter to cut Nashville’s deficit to 3-2.
Buchnevich scored his second goal of the game and seventh of the season at 4:40 of the third period when he grabbed a rebound and held off Saros.
Nashville appeared to tie the game with 2:53 left in the second period when Ryan O’Reilly intercepted Hofer’s clearance attempt and Steven Stamkos fired into an empty net. However, St. Louis challenged the call, with a video review confirming Stamkos was offside when he entered the zone.

Buchnevich scored his first goal of the game with 1:45 left in the first period when he passed the ball to Jake Neighbors, deflected it off Roman Josi and passed it back to himself to give St. Louis a 2-1 lead.
Yost scored his third goal of the season with 8:19 left in the first quarter to tie the game at 1.
Schenn scored his seventh goal of the season and his 700th career point when he blocked a powerful shot from Cam Fowler 8:45 into the first period.
Blues forward Jordan Kyrou returns to the lineup after missing nine games with a lower-body injury, and Jimmy Snagrud returns after missing 12 games due to left wrist surgery.
