Bayern Munich among Europe’s top matchday revenue generators

According to Sport Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich earns €5.7 million per home game, making them among the clubs with the highest matchday revenue in Europe. According to the data, Bayern Munich ranks fifth in Europe with revenue of 5.7 million euros, behind Real Madrid (7.4 million euros), Paris Saint-Germain (7.3 million euros), Arsenal (6.1 million euros) and Tottenham Hotspur (5.9 million euros).

The list also includes four other Bundesliga clubs: Stuttgart (€2.6 million), Eintracht Frankfurt (€2.3 million), Borussia Dortmund (€2.2 million), RB Leipzig (€1.7 million).

Figures show Bayern is in a league of its own domestically, with revenue more than double that of nearest rival Stuttgart. This could explain the club’s dominance over the past decade, while rivals have continually tried to implement strategies to compete with the Bavarians.
