Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale Mode Is Reportedly Called ‘RedSec’, Will Launch on October 28

Battlefield 6 could launch a battle royale mode as early as this week. While EA has yet to reveal a release date for Battlefield 6’s popular mode, new information suggests that the mode will be part of the Season 1 update, which will be released on October 28. The first phase of Season 1 post-launch content has been confirmed to include new maps, 4v4 multiplayer modes, weapons, and more.

A popular channel known for Call of Duty leaks and updates claimed on Friday that Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode will be called Battlefield: RedSec. ModernWarzone claims that the mode, which EA detailed in a previous update, will launch alongside the first phase of Battlefield 6 Season 1.

According to reports, EA will not release a trailer for the battle royale mode in advance and will release the mode’s shadow drop on October 28 (a piece of content will be released without prior announcement).

The information was reportedly data mined from the EA app by One Battlefield, a separate Battlefield-dedicated update channel for the app. According to leaked news, in addition to the confirmed content of the first season, EA is also preparing new content for “Battlefield 6” code-named “Granite”.
