Baltimore Ravens GM says team ‘gutted’ by failed trade

Now that things have finally settled in the wake of the Max Crosby trade, both sides are talking about what happened, including Baltimore Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta.

“We are very excited about the addition of Maxx,” DeCosta said. “No one is more disappointed than me, [he’s] A player I admire very much.

“I know our fans are frustrated and frustrated. I understand that. Tough, tough situation. But I think it’s the right situation for the Ravens. My role as the general manager and Jesse [Minter’s] As head coach and Sashi [Brown’s] As presidents, as stewards of the organization, we have to make a tough decision and this is certainly a tough decision,” he added.

“This conversation was devastating to me,” DeCosta added. “I’m sure it’s a challenge for them as well. It’s also very, very, very, very difficult for the players to hear that. That’s probably the hardest.” [Maxx Crosby]more than anyone else.

Crosby doesn’t seem too upset about remaining with the Las Vegas Raiders. He made that clear in a tweet late Wednesday night.
