Army-Navy Crowd Made It Clear How They Feel About President Trump

President Donald Trump will travel to Baltimore this Saturday for the annual Army-Navy football game.

In the 2024 season, Blake Horvath led Navy to a 31-13 victory over Army. The dual-threat quarterback rushed for 196 yards and passed for 107 yards and four total touchdowns. While that’s no surprise, he was just as good as the Midshipmen this year.

The Black Knights have their own dynamic quarterback in Cale Hellums. He entered Saturday with 1,078 rushing yards, 504 passing yards and 18 total touchdowns this season.

While we have to imagine Hellas and Horvath will put on a show this Saturday, Trump briefly hogged the spotlight.

“It is my honor to introduce the Commander in Chief, our President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump,” the chief said before the halftime coin toss.

The crowd at M&T Bank Stadium went wild after Trump was introduced.

“The Army and Navy crowds went Trump-crazy,” OutKick’s Clay Travis said. “The officials here did a great job.”

“The crowd cheered,” one fan wrote. “Our service members love their president.”

Another fan commented: “I love that our president is involved in sports.”

It’s been a busy sports year for Trump.

Back in September, the President of the United States attended the US Open final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. He later appeared in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York.

We have to imagine Trump was pleased with the reception he received at this afternoon’s Army-Navy game.

As for the actual product, with Horvath’s help, Navy is already off to a good start. He rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive of the game.

Jeff Monken’s defense must find a way to slow down Horvath if Army wants to pull off a win. Obviously, this is not an easy task.
