MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An armed man was arrested Tuesday morning at Colleyville High School, according to an email sent to parents.
Around 9:30 a.m., a ranger and the Colleyville Police Department (CPD) discovered an adult trespasser sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot, the email said. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the suspect was in possession of a loaded handgun and controlled substances.

The school said the man was immediately detained.
No new information was released during this time. WREG contacted CPD about the arrest and we are awaiting a response.
