Arc Raiders is a popular extraction shooter from Embark Studios that has sold over 12 million copies. Publishers Nexon and Embark confirmed on Tuesday that the game’s number of concurrent players hit nearly one million in the new year. The developers have also started rolling out Arc Raiders update 1.11.0, which brings a number of fixes and balance changes, as well as new cosmetic sets.
Arc Raiders reaches sales milestone
Nexon confirmed in a press release that Arc Raiders has sold more than 12.4 million copies across platforms. The publisher also announced that the shooter had 960,000 concurrent players in January, 10 weeks after its release.
“We are extremely pleased with the strong retention and enduring enthusiasm for ARC Raiders shown by players in all major markets around the world,” Nexon CEO Junghun Lee said in a statement. “We are very pleased with the launch in October, with more than 12.4 million copies sold in January and a record of 960,000 concurrent users, demonstrating the potential of ARC Raiders to become another pillar of Nexon’s blockbuster series portfolio.”
Embark CEO Patrick Söderlund called the latest sales figures a “huge milestone”.
“The Predator community has been a part of this journey from the beginning, and their ideas and enthusiasm continue to guide the next steps for the game,” he said.

Nexon said that sales of “Arc Raiders” had exceeded 10 million copies by the end of December, driven by year-end sales on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Sales momentum accelerated in the new year, with sales exceeding 12.4 million units. The publisher says Arc Raiders has been at the top of Steam’s best-selling charts for the better part of ten weeks.
In honor of over 10 million players, Embark is also giving away a gift to all players. Users who log into Arc Raiders before January 13th at 11:59pm CET/2:59pm PST/5:59pm ET will be able to claim the Gilded Pickaxe Raider tool for free.
Arclight Guide Update
In addition to announcing sales results, Embark also began rolling out Arc Raiders update 1.11.0 on Tuesday. This update adds new Abyss cosmetic sets to the in-game store.
The update also rebalances two weapons in Arc Raiders. The Kettle SMG’s rate of fire has been reduced and the Trigger Nader has been nerfed to reduce its damage in the air.
Arc Raiders is available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
