Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested at his home in Sandringham on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
The former royal was arrested by Thames Valley Police after at least six unmarked police cars arrived at Wood Farm this morning on what would have been Andrew’s 66th birthday.
His arrest comes as Thames Valley Police investigate whether Andrew shared confidential information with late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

King Charles has previously made clear that he is “deeply concerned” by the allegations about Andrew’s behavior, and Buckingham Palace said it “stands ready to support” police if they are approached about the allegations.
This morning, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said Andrew should speak to British and US authorities over the Epstein scandal. “Anyone who has any information should testify. So whether it’s Andrew or anyone else, anyone who has information should come forward.”
Andrew has consistently denied all Epstein-related allegations against him.
