Fabrizio Romano’s update on Axel Disasi
Disasi has made appearances for Chelsea’s development squad in an attempt to get him fit before leaving next month.
The 27-year-old was also present in first-team training during the November international break, but Enzo Maresca confirmed there is no turning back.
Disasi has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Disasi has been linked with a move to Newcastle, while recent reports have linked him with a loan move to Serie A side Roma.

However, transfer expert Romano told X.com that any reports of an imminent loan move are outrageous:
“Axel Disasi is available for the January transfer window but reports of a loan move are untimely as the French defender cannot leave on loan.
“Chelsea have used all of their extra English seats on loan this season.
“Roma, Paris Saint-Germain and PSG have all been notified of the situation.”
The impressive art of Aaron Anselmino Borussia Dortmund
While the Blues are looking to move on from Disasi, Aaron Anselmino is a centre-back who could have a bright future at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine joined Borussia Dortmund on loan in the summer and has put in a series of impressive performances.
