Staff at three airlines will receive nearly three weeks of extra pay after being recognized as a Best Employer.

Employees at Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air, all of which operate out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), will receive nearly three weeks of additional pay through the companies’ performance-based pay plans.

The bonus comes after Alaska Airlines was named a top employer in 2026 by Glassdoor. Glassdoor is a career community and job site that allows employees to provide insights, data and information about their employers. Horizon Air and Hawaiian Airlines are both part of the Alaska Airlines Group.

“I’m extremely grateful to the teams at the combined company who have come together to end 2025 with strong momentum and position us well for growth in 2026 and beyond,” said Paul Sale, managing director of Alaska Airlines Total Rewards. “We are in the midst of one of the most exciting and transformative chapters in our history, and it’s our employees who have made this possible. Their award-winning service and commitment to excellence continue to set Alaska, Hawaii and Horizon apart in the industry.”

Alaska Airlines Group said more than 32,000 employees receive this additional benefit.

“This week, employees across the organization will receive nearly three weeks of additional pay under the Pay for Performance (PBP) program, which rewards their commitment to care and performance,” Alaska Airlines said. “PBP unites employees around common goals related to safety, financial performance and guest experience, going beyond traditional profit-sharing plans.”
