The 2025 African Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco in December this year and January 2026.

Ivory Coast entered the World Cup as the defending champions after defeating Nigeria in the 2023 final last February.
The group stage draw will be held on January 27 in Rabat, the host city of the final. The 24 teams are divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each, with the top two teams, plus the three best teams ranked third in the group, advancing to the knockout stages.

2025 African Cup of Nations group stage draw, schedule, standings
The top two teams in each group, plus the three best third-place teams, will advance to the round of 16.
As the host, Morocco is automatically assigned to Group A and will participate in the first game of this tournament on December 21.
