BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Darius Acuff Jr. scored 28 points, the freshman’s fifth straight game with 21 or more points, and No. 21 Arkansas beat LSU 91-62 on Tuesday night.
Freshman Meleek Thomas added 20 points, Trevon Brazile added 14 points and 12 rebounds and Billy Richmond III scored 13 points for the Razorbacks (18-6, 8-3 Southeastern Conference), who led by 36 points throughout the game and earned their fifth win in six games.

Marquel Sutton scored 18 points and Pablo Tamba added 11 for LSU (10-14, 2-9), which shot 31 percent (21 of 68) but lost for the fifth time in six games.
The Tigers outrebounded Arkansas 43-36, grabbing 21 offensive rebounds but only scored 13 points on second chances.
Arkansas had lost each of its previous three games against LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center, but the Razorbacks shot 56% (35 points on 62 field goals) to quickly end that streak.
Arkansas scored the game’s first eight points, and LSU was held scoreless for the first 3:58 before Robert Miller III tied the game for the Tigers, briefly interrupting the Razorbacks’ 12-2 start.

Acuff, a six-time SEC Rookie of the Week selection, is averaging 20.5 points per game this season and has now scored at least 20 points in 14 games this season, including a season-high 31 points in a win over LSU on Jan. 24 in Fayetteville.
In his second game against the Tigers, Acuff scored 12 points in the opening 13:08, including his 3-pointer to give Arkansas a 31-16 lead.
The Razorbacks led 42-27 at halftime, and Acav’s fast-break layup early in the second half sparked a 15-3 run that made it 69-37 with 9:36 left.
Arkansas forward Malik Evan left the game after being hit in the head by Tamba with less than seven minutes remaining and was assessed a flagrant foul.
