A list of all the significant players 49ers are missing due to injury

The San Francisco 49ers may be heading into the NFC Divisional Round against the rival Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night, but their journey won’t be without its trials and tribulations. Clearly, the biggest obstacle facing the 49ers this year is a wave of injuries that never seem to stop. Even players who are healthy and playing, like quarterback Brock Purdy, have missed significant time to start this NFL season.

Frankly, considering what the 49ers are going through health-wise, it’s remarkable that they’re even on the verge of making their fifth NFC Championship Game appearance in seven seasons.

San Francisco takes on Seattle on Saturday night, and here are the notable players the 49ers currently have on injured reserve:

Oh, receiver Ricky Pearsall is dealing with a nagging knee injury of his own, future Hall of Fame left tackle Trent Williams has been battling a hamstring issue, starting right guard Dominick Puni has an ankle issue and rotational defensive end Keion White is also out for Saturday’s game.

This is football. In such a dangerous game, injuries happen. But the 49ers have really had no luck in that regard this year.
