Falcons football president Matt Ryan is not Pretty sure what’s going to happen He’ll be available from the team’s quarterback once the team enters training camp this summer, but he seems more of a certainty when it comes to one of the team’s offseason additions.
Wide receiver Jahan Dotson signed with the Falcons in free agency after catching 37 passes in two seasons with the Eagles. Dotson’s performance continues a string of disappointing results since being drafted by Washington in the first round in 2022, and a move to Atlanta wouldn’t be a big move for a team that already has offensive players like Derek London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson.

During Monday’s episode of 680 The Fan, Ryan shed some light on Dotson’s performance, saying he believes Dotson brings more to the game than he has been able to show in his first four seasons.
“Of course you have to have these top players,” Ryan said. “But if you want to be successful long-term and be consistent year in and year out, depth is critical. So when you add a guy like Jahan Dotson, I think he excites me.” Has untapped potential Be with him. Some of it is just situations he was in early on and some of the places he was. So, excited about what he can do. “
The Falcons also signed Olamide Zaccheaus and drafted Zachariah Branch in the third round, so Dotson will have to stand out on the practice field for Ryan’s comments to seem prescient come the fall.
