“She’s struggling,” Mortensen said. “She’s been through a lot. I can’t even tell you anything that just happened. I think I broke my finger, man.” He then asked if he had a lump on his elbow because she allegedly hit him with a metal chair.

Previously released video showed Paul throwing a metal chair at Mortensen while her daughter cried. (She has daughter Indy, now 8, with her ex-husband Tate Paul.)

Mortensen later told officers that when Paul heard he was going to the concert with friends, she wanted to go with them. He said he was in a bad situation when he picked her up and she said some nasty things to him. Mortensen then claimed that when they arrived at the house, he tried to leave but she then began beating him.

As the video ends, Mortensen asks the officer: “Why can’t it be me? Can I leave?” and reiterates that Paul “has been through so much.”

The officer said no because “she was the primary aggressor in everything.” He gave Mortensen the option of filling out a form and explained that her account of the night was different. The officer warned Mortensen that the situation could be worse and that this was not the kind of situation that could be resolved with a brief conversation.

“The same goes for her,” Mortensen replied.

TMZ released a second video Monday night in which the officer was on the phone with Mortensen. He asked Mortensen if he remembered Paul “peeing his pants” that night. Mortensen responded that he wouldn’t notice because his truck was filled with water when she allegedly threw something at him.

The officer then told Mortensen, “It’s very common for people to pee in situations like this, which is why I felt I needed to ask.”

Mortensen also described the stool-throwing incident, video of which was released on Thursday, March 19.

Paul was arrested over the incident and pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge in August. She was also charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child, but those charges were dismissed.

The Draper Police Department confirmed on March 16 that it was investigating her for an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred on February 24 and 25. They told People the accusations “go both ways.”

After controversy surrounding Paul, ABC chooses not to air her upcoming season bachelorettedays before its scheduled premiere, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Stop shooting.
