‘We don’t fear anyone’ — Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane ready for Real Madrid

Bayern Munich swept Atalanta 10-2 on aggregate in the Champions League round of 16. Even more impressively, Harry Kane didn’t even feature during half-time. Now, with Real Madrid on the rise, Kane has made a bold statement.

“It will be a difficult game. Whenever you face Real Madrid in the Champions League, you expect a battle. But we will be ready. We are not afraid of anyone, although it will be difficult,” the striker told the media after the win against Atalanta (via @iMiaSanMia).

Considering Bayern Munich haven’t beaten Real Madrid in the knockout stages of the Champions League since 2012, Kane may be exaggerating. On the other hand, the current Bayern Munich really does not fear anyone. The last time these two teams met, Thomas Tuchel built his team to defend and fend off Madrid’s attacks. This time, the dynamics will be very different.

Of course, Kane will play his part. He better be ready to prove his promise with goals and assists.
