TikTok Banned: How to Download All Your Videos from the App

TikTok and 58 other apps were banned by the government, and as of this writing, Tiktok is no longer available on app stores in India. People who have the app installed will still be able to access the app, but this may change as well. If you’re worried about losing all your uploaded videos, there are some steps you can take to download all your data.

We want to help you recover all the data in your profile before TikTok becomes inaccessible. Read on as we explain how to download all your TikTok data at once.

How to download Douyin data

We recommend two approaches in this article. The first method is the manual method where you need to download each video manually. The second method we recommend is to request your data directly from TikTok.

1. on your mobile phone, Open TikTok and go to your contour.
2. Now, open a video > Click three dots icon > Click save video.
3. Once you do this, that specific TikTok video will be downloaded locally to your device.
4. You can also repeat the same steps to download other videos.
   Note that this is the fastest manual method currently available. Also, keep in mind that the downloaded video will have a watermark. Request data

The second method allows you to request data directly from TikTok. Once the request is processed, you can instantly download all data from within the app. Go ahead and follow the steps below

1. on your mobile phone, Open TikTok and click three dots icon in the upper right corner.
2. tap Privacy and security > Click Personalization and data > Click Download your data.
3. On the next screen you need to click Request data file. Clicking this button will send a request to TikTok to download your data. Please note that your request may take up to 30 days to be processed.
4. Going forward, you’ll need to manually continue checking if your application is ready. Once done, you need to go to Download data tablocated next to the Request Data tab. There you need to click download button next to the data you requested.
5. Please keep in mind that the requested data file can be downloaded for up to four days and if you do not download it within the given time, the data file will expire.
