Years after playing their last professional women’s soccer game in Massachusetts, the Boston Legends will kick off their inaugural season today against Gotham at Gillette Stadium.
Boston Legacy FC will become the 15th starting team in the 2026 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

The game will be broadcast live nationwide at 12:30 p.m.
Boston Legacy FC will add to Boston’s winning legacy as the 15th team in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Founded and led by women, the club is dedicated to creating a home for the greatest female athletes of our generation.
The team will play at Gillette Stadium until 2027, when White Stadium is finally completed.
