As March Madness continues to spread across the sports world, the SEC Tournament has reached the quarterfinals.

In the latest bracket update from USA TODAY Sports, the latest results from the tournament have had some impact on the situation for some of the lower-seeded conference teams, while the Florida Gators remain the top school in the conference.

“Auburn had a chance to punch an NCAA ticket by beating Tennessee, but couldn’t stop freshman Nate Ament, who returned from injury after missing two weeks and scored 27 points in the Volunteers’ 72-62 victory,” the author said. “Missouri lost to Kentucky 78-72 and is now on the wrong side of the bubble.”

Friday’s quarterfinals include Florida State taking on Kentucky at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The third game between the two SEC rivals is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
